K. Manmathan Nair
K. Manmathan Nair , aged 60 years, has background in Economics and core competence in Industrial Finance & Development Banking. He is an expert in all types of project appraisal and monitoring such as term lending, working capital, venture capital, infrastructure finance, rural development, micro-credit, etc. He is conversant with operations of capital market, merchant banking, foreign currency, risk management, asset-liability management, capacity building of SFCs and other State-level institutions, rehabilitation of sick units, negotiation skill, business development, business planning & budgeting, administrative & HR matters, industrial surveys and studies, etc. Mr. Nair carries 42 years of credible service with India's apex financial institutions like RBI, IDBI, SIDBI as also with RIICO and last as MD of Kerala Financial Corporation. He has served in the capacity of Director of 5 State Financial Corporations in the country, viz, Delhi, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra, and Himachal, besides being nominee director of Kerala SIDCO, KINFRA, Himachal SIDC and a number of IDBI/SIDBI assisted companies in the country. Mr. Nair was member of various Committees & Working Groups of Govt. of India, many Southern/Northern State Governments, Reserve Bank of India, Confederation of Indian Industry, National Productivity Council, etc. at various centers. In addition to host of high profile training received from RBI, IDBI, SIDBI, UTI, NIBM and SBI, Mr. Nair has undergone overseas trainings from Cranfield University, England, Moody's Corporation, USA and In-Went, Germany.
